This is more west than north, I think, since the “triangle” of downtown Pittsburgh points northwest, and the side of the building I was on pointed squarely at the Point.

Two notable landmarks without visible branding are PPG Place on the left—the tall, reflective, Batman-looking building, AKA, the Glass Palace—and the square, tree-lined clearing below it and to the right: Market Square.

    • That’s true. You’ll notice the downtown streets are diagonal, so if you’re facing the same way the buildings are facing, you’re going at an angle relative to where Ft. Duquesne points.
