Burrell Lake Park has a very short trail: the Bear Trail itself is only half a mile, but when you add the path around Holtzhauer Lake it, you get .8 miles total. Very brief, but it’s actually a little tough with some sharp elevation rises, narrow paths, and steep drop-offs in some areas.
Not a lot of photos here, since the trail was so short and there’s not a lot of interesting enough spots.
There’s a small detour trail, the Webelo, but it amounts to the same distance.

Always a lot of ducks near the lake, and they feel comfortable enough there that they sleep out on the open. I accidentally woke this fellow up:

A clearing near the beginning of the wooded part of the trail, accessible if you take a small detour:

The trail is overly blazed in my opinion, maybe because the Boy Scouts frequent it. Don’t want the wee ones having doubts:

Hmmm. “No” swimming might be obvious, which is precisely what dumb people do. Maybe wading too. Fishing? Definitely no hunting. Nice pictures. Is that son of Jay?
There were other “No Swimming” signs there, so that’s a pretty good guess.
That’s Son of Jay, yeah!
