Somewhat Recommended: The Return of the Anunnaki Movie

AI video has come pretty far from the nightmarish productions from a year and a half ago. With some nuanced inputs and direction, it’s starting to look like highly-stylized stereoscopic images.

The actual story here seems okay, and is based loosely on Zecharia Sitchin’s ramblings, who should’ve just written a sci-fi series instead of claiming it as actual prophecy, and there’s plenty to mine from Mesopotamian religious history. It really fell apart for me when the Anunnaki’s plan was spelled out: an nonsensical Enlightenment-based perfection quite obviously dreamt up by a 21st century materialist westerner (the video’s creator is Brazilian). Interesting how a a powerful, ancient alien race’s perfect society overlaps nicely like that. I have my issues with writers like Lovecraft or Alan Moore, but at least their superpowered being stories don’t conclude as a ridiculous utopian fantasy.

The channel’s most viewed video is a feature-length movie in the same style, about the Anunnaki as depicted in Sitchin’s original material in The Lost Book of Enki
