Links of Possible Relevance, Part 33

The Minäverse is free on Kindle (for now)
Internet friend and fellow author Jill Domschot put up her newest book on Amazon for free, until April 10. Also, my two books are always free over at Smashwords, but go get you some Minäverse first.

Predator Helicopter Scene – Long Tall Sally
It’s a movie, sure, but this is kind of how guys should act when by themselves. Think weapons, rock and roll, warpaint, raw shaving, chewing tobacco, inappropriate jokes, no one getting offended. Even the “nerdy” guy is in the zone. Again, it’s a bit exaggerated, but the spirit is there.

Anime Has Fallen
One of the great draws of anime is that we hardly come across any American political correctness. I’m kinda hoping Japanese creators will push back on their stuff getting diluted to appease overly sensitive American dweebs. I can see a big split happening when this gets out of hand; fans are already aware when lines get Americanized too much. How much more so will they notice when Funimation starts to inject very obvious political opinions.

#pencilsDown
Speaking of intrusive politics, what will the anime version of #pencilsDown be? #forceQuitAdobePremiere?

Trigglypuff in five seconds
Speaking of speaking of intrusive politics, this is too well done and short to watch only ten times.

My Secret Terrius episode predicted the coronavirus
Eh. Given the amount of fictional narratives out there, it’s not really surprising.

Filmmaker Shows Us How Fake Nature Documentaries Really Are
Of course they are doctored. It would take an enormous budget to pay a crew for filming all that stuff naturally (heh).

改造スパルタンXとかをあの人にやらせてみた
The title translates from Japanese into: “I tried that person doing a modified Spartan X or something.” Makes as much sense as the video.

Cameron’s World
In terms of something like a historical Internet gallery crawl, this is actually pretty good.
