Posting some more recipes on here for the next few days. This is probably the best virtual place to keep them for me: I won’t lose them and I won’t have to patronize horribly-designed and ad-infested recipe sites.
Ingredients
- 1 lb of grass-fed ground beef
- 1 small onion
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1 cup of crushed pork rinds
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Brown beef in skillet, drain the fat
- In an 8×8 glass dish layer the beef on the bottom, add salt and pepper
- Layer the onions, then mushrooms, add salt and pepper
- In a skillet, combine the cream and almond flour. Let it boil and evaporate a lot of the liquid until it becomes a cream sauce.
- Pour cream sauce over the cassrole
- Bake covered for 30 minutes
- Add cheese slices and crumbed pork rinds, bake for another 5 minutes
- Let cool for at least 30 minutes before serving
