In addition to the Pale Blue Scratch review, Ivana also did an interview with me, about the book, writing in general, and a new book I’m working on (!!!):
Where did you get your idea for Pale Blue Scratch?
I was toying with the premise of an odd couple-type pair of sleuths trying to track down a scientist in trouble, where one of the sleuths really believes the scientist’s work is legitimate but the other sleuth doesn’t. Some of that was inspired by the Sherlock Holmes stories.

Good interview! Project X has me rubbing my hands together like a mosquito in anticipation. I don’t know if that description is coherent but I’m keeping it! I think the new site looks wonderful, too.
The outline is almost done! I am kind of taking my time with it. Spending a lot of time organizing it saves time later on. I’d say a few weeks or so and it will be in your hands.
Thanks about the design. It was a “shadow release,” since I activated it without telling anyone. The secret is out!
Cool interview! Glad you did this.
Thanks, Jill. Are you still in the editing game? I may require your services eventually, if you are. 😀
Good stuff, Jay. I’m ambivalent about your new blog interface, but you shouldn’t feel discouraged, since I’m a crank about such things.
No worries, Ed. The theme change was an impulse buy (even though it was free). I was having issues with the old one getting something to work right, but this current one (“Writings”) solved it all by default.
